Scott Dooley, Graduate Student
Scott Dooley is a graduate student pursuing his Ph.D degree in Dr. Jean Bennett’s lab. Scott graduated from Rutgers University, with additional training in human genetics from Human Genetics Institute of New Jersey. In addition, Scott received his associate degree in computer science and was an IT professional before becoming interested in biomedical sciences. His research interest includes genetic engineering that allows for permanent changes to the genome as a mean to correct disease causing mutations. Scott is a big fan of fantasy genre novels, enjoys small construction projects.
